Article 17 – Prohibition of advertising: a lawyer is allowed to provide information regarding his professional activity. The information provided should be true and accurate and respect the dignity and decency of the profession and the obligations of secrecy and confidentiality.
- The information can be provided through brochures, letters, professional and telephone directories, information technology networks, including those with international distribution.
- It is permitted to disclose arrangements with third parties for particular areas of the firm's business.
- It is permitted to indicate the name of a deceased lawyer, who was a member of the firm, provided that the latter expressly provided for such arrangements or indicated thus in his will or where there is the unanimous consent of his heirs.
